Q: When is GB held?

A: Every Wednesday during school terms, starting at 6pm. All groups finish at 7.30pm. Sometimes we have camps or excursions, but we will let you know when those are coming up.

 

Q: Where is GB held?

Mount Isa Baptist Church, cnr Isa and Deighton Streets. Sometimes we have camps or excursions, but we will always get your permission to take the girls off-site.

 

Q: Do you have a Boys' Brigade?

A: Yes - the boys meet on Friday nights. Check them out here.

 

Q: My daughter would like to give GB a try - what do I do next?

A: You can just "show up" one Wednesday night at 6pm - at any time of the year. We will require you to complete some registration details on arrival before she can participate in any activities.

You may trial GB without committing to purchasing a uniform or paying fees for up to 5 weeks.

 

Q: Do we have to attend Mount Isa Baptist Church to join GB?

A: No, you don't have to attend any church to be part of GB.

 

Q: How do I pay my GB fees?

A: You will be sent an invoice for fees, uniforms, camp fees etc.

Unfortunately our leaders are unable to accept cash, please pay by direct deposit.

Q: Do I have to let you know if my daughter is absent?

Yes, please do so by completing THIS FORM. Badges are dependent on attendance. However to be fair, sometimes "explained" absences may still be counted towards your daughter's attendance.

 

Q: Can I get some more information about uniforms?

A: The uniform consists of:

• White blouse (contact the Captain or click here to order)
• Navy sash (contact the Captain to order)
• Navy skort (parents to source - from Kmart for example)
• White Socks (parents to source)
• Black Shoes (parents to source)
