Please continue to keep the Burns Family, the LeadershipTeam and those helping with the process, in your prayers as they work through all of the (many official) steps so that Burns family can join us face to face. 

The leadership team is overseeing the visa applicaton process for the Burns family.

We have engaged a visa laywer (Peter Lee - AusVisa Lawyers), who has been most informative and helpful.

The lawyer provided us with a checklist of documents, and a questionnaire. We had access to most of the the documents he needed, and we have also sought a letter of support from QB, which they have provided. After we returned these, the lawyer has drafted our applicaton to sponsor an overseas worker, and our application has been lodged. 

The Burns family received and completed their own checklist and questionnaire, and we have assisted them to complete these, from which the lawyer has drafted their application to become a sponsored visa holder. We hope to have this application lodged any day now. 

After that we wait to see if the Department of Home Affairs would like any additional information before granting the Burns family their visa. The lawyer has indicated that the processing time may be a couple of months. 

Please keep praying for this process and for the Burns Family. 

The rosters can be found on the table in the foyer, they are filling up, however there are still a few spots available to fill.
