It's not long now—there are 17 days to go!

Please continue to pray for:

The Burns Family (they have even fewer days before they leave South Africa),

The Leadership Team, and those helping with the process as they work through the remaining administration tasks.

The practical steps that we as a church family will need to achieve over the next couple of weeks and how you can best be involved. 

Keep an eye on the newsletter and an ear on the announcements for more details. We already have the Welcome Hamper in progress and the Manse Working Bee is coming up, see the newsletter below for more details on those.

Please note: The first larger column is the specification for an Apple Mac Computer and the second smaller column are the requirements for a Windows based computer. 

If you can assist by donating an unused, suitable laptop for the Burns children's school use, we are looking for a laptop for each child, so 2 laptops.

Did you know that there are only 2 more Sundays until the Burns Family will be sitting with us in church?!

There is a list at the back of the auditorium of pantry items needed.

There are some specific dietary requirements, so please check out the list. We hope the list will help purchase items that the Burns Family can use and help them settle into life in a new country and town. 

The list will be similar to what we do at Christmas, with a section for you to put your name beside what you are bringing and a tear away section for you to take for your 'shopping list'. This will help us to ensure that we have a balanced range of pantry items to gift to the Burns family to stock their cupboards with.

A working bee will be held at the manse on Saturday, 5th April 2025 at 1:00 PM to tidy up the yard and clean inside the house so it is spick and span and ready for the Burns Family's arrival on Thursday evening the 10th of April 2025. 

We hope many hands can jump in and make light work of putting the finishing touches on the manse ready for the Burns family arrival. 

On Sunday, 13th April 2025, we will be welcoming the Burns Family to Mount Isa.

We hope you can join us for a fellowship lunch together after the service. We are aiming to eat lunch at 11:30 am. 

Please bring a plate of food to share. 

The new roster for April - June is available on the table in the foyer however, there is one vacancy left for the current January - March roster:

Picking up Terry: We need a volunteer to pick up Terry this coming Sunday, the 30th of March, please.

Men's Hangar Night will kick off in 2025 next month, on the first Tuesday night in April. 

Come along!! It's a great night of guys hanging out. There's a discussion about someone's interest and opportunities to ask questions and fantastic food, arguably the best steak burgers in town! 

Cost: $10.00 per person, which includes a steak burger, soft drink, and dessert. 

Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
