Please continue to keep the Burns Family, the LeadershipTeam and those helping with the process, in your prayers as they work through all of the (many official) steps so that Burns family can join us face to face. 

The visas for the Burns family have been approved! Their flights have
been booked - they will arrive in Mount Isa on Thursday, 10 April. This
is well ahead of our expectations, so we are excited and thankful that
God has made this path clear for us all.

There is much to do in preparation for their arrival. Please keep an eye
out for ways you can help, you will soon see calls for things like

        * Manse cleaning and yard work working bee
        * Contributions to a welcome hamper
        * Meals for their first week here

Keep an eye on emails and announcements for further details.

Please keep Roydon, Debbie, Nathan and Nicole in your prayers as they
busily prepare to pack up and relocate.

Please note: The first larger column is the specification for an Apple Mac Computer and the second smaller column are the requirements for a Windows based computer. 

If you can assist by donating an unused, suitable laptop for the Burns children's school use, we are looking for a laptop for each child, so 2 laptops.

Did you know that there are only 3 more Sundays until the Burns Family will be sitting with us in church?!

There will be a list at the back of the auditorium on Sunday with a list of pantry items needed.

There are some specific dietary requirements, so please check out the list. We hope the list will help purchase items that the Burns Family can use and help them settle into life in a new country and town. 

The list will be similar to what we do at Christmas, with a section for you to put your name beside what your bringing and a tear away section for you to take for your 'shopping list'. This will help us to ensure that we have a balanced range of pantry items to stock the cupboards with.

A working bee will be held at the manse on Saturday, 5th April 2025 to tidy up the yard and clean inside the house so it is spick and span and ready for the Burns Family arrival on Thursday evening the 10th of April 2025. 

We hope many hands can jump in and make light work of putting the finishing touches on the manse ready for the Burns family arrival. 

On Sunday, 13th April 2025, we will be welcoming the Burns Family to Mount Isa.

We hope you can join us for a fellowship lunch together after the service. We are aiming to eat lunch at 11:30 am. 

Please bring a plate of food to share. 

The rosters are on the table in the foyer. They are filling up, but there are still a few spots available.

Picking up Terry: We are in need of a volunteer to pick up Terry on Sunday, the 30th of March.

Bible Reading: A volunteer is needed for this coming Sunday, the 23rd, and the following Sunday, the 30th of March.

The fledgling Tree of Life Pregnancy Support Services (TOLPSS) is having its first public meeting tonight.

Date: Monday, 17^th March

Time: 7 pm

Venue: at the Isa Community Church Cafe.

You are warmly invited to join for this gathering.  Our gathering on Monday evening will serve as an opportunity for TOLPSS  to be introduced to a broader audience, for you all to meet our team, and for updates to be communicated to all.  It is truly a very exciting opportunity to develop a cross denominational community response, and I suspect will be the first of a number of collaborative life-giving initiatives.

Men's Hangar Night will kick off in 2025 next month, on the first Tuesday night in April. 

Come along!! It's a great night of guys hanging out. There's discussion about someone's interest and opportunities to ask questions and fantastic food, arguably the best steak burgers in town!
