The Pastoral Search Team has arranged for the Pastor Role to be advertised in most states. While we wait for an applicant we invite you to continue to pray for our church and our future pastor. The Pastoral Search Team will continue to meet periodically to pray. 

We will provide the congregation with an update if and when there are any developments.

RODEO TIME IS FAST APPROACHING AND VOLUNTEERING HELPS OUR MOUNT ISA CHAPLAINCY COMMITTEE RAISE $12,500. THIS MONEY ALLOWS US TO SUPPORT OUR LOCAL SCHOOL CHAPLAINS. 

This money ensures Chaplaincy can provide resources, put on Chappy Week events/breakfasts, Professional Development, and even towards wages for our chaplains. They are hoping for a minimum of 20 people across each of the timeslots. 

For volunteering, those who commit and help do receive FREE ENTRY into the rodeo grounds, including children if they are willing to help. We provide gloves, sanitizer, some pickup sticks, bags, sunscreen, and plenty of water and shade, if you have done it before, you will know that helping over the 5-hour time slots means you are doing cleanup for some, and watching rodeo for some. It's not a constant slog. 

For those willing to help, there are two steps

1. Choose your timeslot and return the form. The link to the form can be found HERE

2. The rodeo requires an INDUCTION to be completed, and this is all online and quite quick. Please remember to put down Mount Isa School Chaplaincy as the volunteer group. For the link to completing the online induction click on the button below.
