Working From Home

This week, Vanessa and Natalie are flying to Brisbane for a medical appointment. I will be working from home at times this week to look after Eliza and Brianna. The men's group will continue as normal tonight.

Evening Service

We are quickly approaching our first evening service. I intend to host two music practices to help the music team gain confidence, these will be held at 3pm on Saturday  the 18th and 25th. We have chosen easy songs and will only sing 3-4 each night, so we welcome beginner musicians and singers.

The hospitality team also needs to get a baseline figure for catering for the night. This Sunday morning, we will have a sheet of paper in the foyer for you to add your name if you plan to attend. This will help the hospitality team when they go shopping throughout the week. 

For all those involved with the creative ministries team for the Sunday Evening Service, there will be a practice at 3 pm this Saturday the 18th and the following Saturday the 25th. 

Please join us this Sunday to welcome guest speaker Pastor Steve Ballin. Steve Ballin is the senior pastor of Longreach Baptist Church. 

Our first members meeting for 2023 is to held this Sunday after the morning service. All members are asked to make yourselves available to come to this meeting. Non-members are also welcome. 

One of the best ways to get involved at Mount Isa Baptist Church is to join a Home Group.

For those who are coming along to this event, please come prepared to give to the Love Offering that will be taken up to help Sam and his ministry to continue their work in Africa.

Amplify Conference for Children, Youth, and Family Ministry is on again. They have an online hub available for Mount Isa. If you are interested in registering for this conference or would like more information, please contact the office.

Bob Stephens secured several thousand Gospels of John from the ACL.

To help with keeping track of where Bibles have been placed, Pastor Tim has set up a feedback page 
where street names can be entered and the distribution map can be viewed. If you would rather not use the feedback page,
simply contact Pastor Tim or the Office, and they can do it for you.

Feel free to pick up some Bibles and distribute them through a couple of streets.

Just a friendly reminder to parents please ensure your child/children are checked into their respective ministries when you arrive at church. If they are attending Sonshine Corner, they need to be checked in to the 'top hall'; if they're in Junior Church, they need to be checked in to the 'auditorium'.
